After more than 100 years since its early beginnings, the RSL remains as committed as ever to providing support, welfare and friendship to veterans, their families and the community at large.

The organisation, which was Australia’s first welfare agency, was pivotal in the creation of the commonwealth repatriation system, war widows and service disability pensions and much more. Money raised from major appeals allows the RSL to continue to offer a helping hand to those in need through services including disaster assistance, financial assistance and advocacy.
