Geelong RSL has planned a special day full of special events and services for Anzac Day on Tuesday, 25th April 2023.
Anzac Day is a time for Australians and New Zealanders to reflect on the courage, camaraderie, and sacrifice of those who have served and continue to serve in the armed forces. It is also a day to honor and pay respects to those who lost their lives in war, and to acknowledge the impact of war on communities and families.
Anzac Day is not just about remembering the past, but also serves as a reminder to strive for peace and to promote understanding and compassion among nations. So, it’s a day of reflection, gratitude, and remembrance for the Anzac spirit that embodies qualities of courage, sacrifice, and mateship.
Join us as we pay our respects, show gratitude, and commemorate the service and sacrifice of Australian and New Zealanders who served in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations.
